So, I'm feeling nostalgic this holiday season. This might be because for Christmas I received Siamese Dream on vinyl, and I was also given a brand new copy of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness on CD (my fifth or sixth copy as I can't keep them from becoming scratched up beyond repair and/or losing them).

This community is a bit depressing these days. All I see are posts of people selling off their collections or ranting about the general weirdness of Billy and whoever else comprises the "Smashing Pumpkins" these days. How about.. for fun.. if anyone's up to it.. tell me when and what made you fall in love with Pumpkins? If you've ever seen them live, when did you see them? What did you think of the show? Etc, etc.
